CHARACTER: ryo asuka / satan.
SERIES: devilman (manga).
BUILD: on the scrawny side, honestly. a little more physically resilient than he looks.
DEMEANOR: while he initially comes across as aloof, ryo's actually a weird, sweaty conspiracy theorist with a strong sense of justice. under extreme stress, he's emotionally volatile and paranoid (a winning combo), but mostly put-together otherwise. although well-intentioned and observant, he tends to make snap judgments in a crisis. his predisposition toward nihilism and cynical humor mostly translates in him being blunt to the point of awkwardness. also, he's pretty lonely. when he isn't going off the rails, he's unexpectedly soft-hearted and gentle, with a deep fondness for nature and animals.
IN CHARACTER (IC)
PHYSICAL AFFECTION: have fun with that. he's bad at reciprocating even if the feeling's mutual because he has a hard time being honest with himself.
PHYSICAL VIOLENCE: beat him up, it's cool. we can hash out anything lasting or severe in the injuries department if you'd like.
RELATIONSHIPS: canonically, he's always pining for one specific person in his series except in violence jack.
TELEPATHY: a-okay! go ahead and read his mind. just say the word if you need more info.
OTHER NOTES: in-game, ryo's shitty, broken powers are nerfed, save for his ability to sense anyone with demonic ties/influences + general danger (which is by no means accurate or reliable in most standard settings). rest assured that i won't have him attempt to track down your character using that power without your permission, so drop a note below if you'd like to opt-in to that whenever it becomes relevant.
